Music
NO FEAR Music is the first program division in what will one day include numerous mediums of arts and arts education programming. Our music programs welcome participants of all ages, musical backgrounds, experience levels, and socioeconomic circumstances to take part, either in person or online from anywhere in the world.
WHO: Our music teaching artists are acclaimed professionals and passionate educators based in New Orleans with backgrounds in Jazz, Blues, Funk, Soul, R&B, Rock, Pop, Classical, and more.
WHY: We aspire for participants to cultivate meaning and purpose in their musical experiences, in order to build intrinsic motivation to grow musically throughout their lifetimes.
WHAT: After establishing a framework for meaning and purpose, teaching artists withdraw from the musical understanding and skills already present within participants, no matter how nominal, and then introduce new musical experiences, knowledge, and skills based on participants’ capabilities and personal interests.
HOW: Teaching artists follow NO FEAR’s methodology for Experiential Arts and Learning (EA&L), which builds upon what is inspiring and motivating to participants. Our student-centered teaching methods therefore become personalized to fit participants’ individual learning styles, life and musical experiences, musical goals, and more.

NO FEAR
Kids
NO FEAR Kids is an integrative early childhood arts education program for children ages 8 months to 8 years old, that utilizes art as a tool to introduce children to humanizing concepts and social-emotional learning skills, including lessons on gratitude, acceptance, empathy, integrity, courage, and more.
With each concept being integrated into interactive artmaking experiences that engage young and old alike, program activities include music, movement and dance, visual art, reading and writing, comedy, food, and more.
