NO FEAR Music presents: “Dream”
Check out NO FEAR’s mission in action through our recent collaboration with There’s Always Hope Foundation and Temple Sinai New Orleans.
With NO FEAR teaching artists meeting with students weekly over the course of three months, collectively they composed “Dream” together, which reimagines Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have A Dream” speech through song, while welcoming audiences to become active participants in the experience.
This debut performance from Temple Sinai’s 2026 MLK Jr. Day ceremony, invites an audience of nearly 500 to “break the fourth wall” through participatory and communal artmaking, being hallmarks of Experiential Arts and Learning.
Annual Report
We are so grateful to all the supporters who contributed their time, money, and resources to NO FEAR during our inaugural year.
In 2025, NO FEAR provided 19 student musicians, ages 9-19, with over 150 hours of free afterschool music education including ensemble rehearsals, individual and group lessons, music theory and piano instruction, performance opportunities, social gatherings, and more. We welcome you to learn more about these offerings in the adjacent 2025 annual report.
Looking ahead to 2026, we look forward to expanding our music education programming considerably, including the pilot of an early childhood family program in partnership with There’s Always Hope Foundation, which focuses on music and mental health for youth.
We also plan to introduce individual and group music lessons for learners of all ages and experience levels, as well as launch an oral history project that analyzes the history of Danny Barker’s Fairview Baptist Church Band through an Experiential Arts and Learning lens.
We hope you’ll consider joining us in making “art for heart’s sake” over the year, as NO FEAR aims to empower artists, audiences, and the communities our collective artmaking can serve.
